PMO Professional

Contract | £430 per day | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working | Birmingham-based (You must be able to be on site in Birmingham weekly)We're working with a large, complex organisation to recruit an experienced PMO Professional to support the delivery of high-profile customer programmes within a Design & Delivery environment.This role sits within a Customer PMO function, providing governance, reporting and assurance across multiple projects, while supporting Project and Programme Managers to ensure successful delivery to time, cost and quality.Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end PMO support across complex customer programmes and projects
• Maintain and operate PMO governance frameworks, including: RAID management, Change and risk governance, Document management and project controls
• Produce accurate project and programme reports for internal and customer stakeholders
• Own and maintain project logs, trackers and reporting packs
• Support Project Managers with planning, forecasting, scheduling and financial tracking
• Track progress against milestones and ensure delivery against agreed tolerances
• Act as an escalation point for PMO team members where required
• Support gateway reviews, project closure activities and lessons learned
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience working in a PMO role within a project or programme environment
• Strong understanding of PMO governance, controls and reporting
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confident producing management information and project reporting
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (MS Project desirable)
• Experience working within matrix and delivery-focused environments
• Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, P30 or equivalent (desirable)
