Product Owner

Your New Company

Join a recognised organisation known for its strong culture and exceptional employee experience. You'll be stepping into an environment that blends the stability of an established business with the dynamic, people-first energy of a startup within the newly formed product team. This is a pivotal, ground-floor opportunity as the first hire in a brand-new product function, reporting directly to the Design Lead.

Your New Role

  • Facilitate user-story mapping and backlog planning with product and development teams.
  • Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria to drive high-quality sprint outcomes.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clear prioritisation, goal alignment, and successful delivery against product goals.
  • Embed agile best practices across the full sprint cycle (planning, refinement, retrospectives, and delivery).
  • Support and mentor junior analysts, contributing to the team's overall growth and process evolution.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated success as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst in agile environments.
  • Highly skilled in story mapping, defining epics, and effectively breaking down complex work into actionable stories.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to absorb and organise a large feature set. Your enthusiasm, positive energy, and cultural fit are just as important as your technical capability.

What You'll Get in Return

  • Be the first hire, giving you maximum scope to influence ways of working, processes, and team culture from the very beginning.
  • Work directly alongside a newly promoted Design Lead with a clear, inspiring vision for the future.
  • Join a business celebrated for its commitment to a strong culture and employee-first experience.
