Project Coordinator

A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for a Project Coordinator to support a project with a banking client based in Leeds (Hybrid- 2 days/wk onsite), 5-month contract initially.

As a Project Coordinator, you will be reporting to a Project Manager(s) and supporting them in the delivery of stand-alone projects or work streams.

Working under the direction of a Project Lead, you will have responsibility for several key activities, which could include some, or all of the following:

Managing project resources,

Tracking that the agreed products are delivered.

Monitoring and tracking the project finances

Supporting the management of project controls (including risks, issues, customer dependencies and change)

Accurately capture meeting minutes for distribution and tracking for future reference.

Show an understanding of the importance of project finances and show an ability to track and manage project finances through the delivery lifecycle of a project.

A good understanding of project RAID and the ability to capture, manage and report on all aspects of project RAID.

The ability to communicate using multiple methods and with project stakeholders both internally and externally across all levels of grade.

Purchasing ad hoc licencing Uploading consumption reports Creating licences Request management Queue management Team mailbox management

This is to work with the customer and alongside the purchasing team

Skills and knowledge required.

Trained in project management methodology, for example Prince2, Agile Techniques.

Demonstrable track-record of delivering effectively in a Project environment.

Skilled user of Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.

Ability to escalate issues effectively.

Good literacy and numeracy skills and attention to detail.
