Project Manager

Your new company A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a high-profile technology delivery programme. Working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in leading technical projects and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale technology programmes while engaging with a broad range of business and technical stakeholders.Your new role As Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects and programmes. You will work closely with technical teams, architects, delivery leads, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple technical workstreams and delivery squads.
  • Planning, tracking, and driving project deliverables through the full project lifecycle.
  • Managing project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Coordinating with architects, developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitating project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Supporting Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
  • Translating technical designs and architecture into actionable delivery plans.
  • Driving collaboration across distributed and global delivery teams.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience within technology-focused environments.
  • Proven experience applying project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience managing multiple technical squads and/or large-scale programmes.
  • Background in software engineering, systems integration, or technology delivery is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of architecture, system integration, and deployment practices.
  • Ability to interpret technical designs and convert them into delivery actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Strong experience managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Experience working within distributed or global delivery environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum are desirable.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS and FCA clearance.
