Project Manager

A leading global financial markets firm is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their London-based office. The client is delivering a major multi-year transformation programme and requires a confident, experienced project manager to drive a platform migration and cloud adoption.Job Details:Start date - ASAP Duration - 6 months initial (2-year programme of work)Rate - £750-£800 per day Inside IR35 via Umbrella Location - London Hybrid - 3 days in the officeKey requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within financial services or banking is essential.
• Experience leading large-scale platform and cloud transformation projects, ideally involving AWS.
• Understanding of the index lifecycle, benchmark configuration, and market data distribution (e.g. Bloomberg, MSCI, FTSE Russell).
• Strong knowledge of banking products across all asset classes, including equities and fixed income.
• Ability to operate in a lean, high-impact team, mentoring others and managing complex internal dependencies.
• Skilled in project planning, stakeholder communication, risk management, and budget oversight.
• Proficiency in LucidChart, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
