A client of mine is looking for a hands-on SOC Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst to support their cybersecurity function.
The right candidate will have strong experience administering and securing Microsoft 365 environments.
Key Requirements
- Proven commercial experience as a SOC / Cyber Security Analyst, within a large enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms including Microsoft Defender, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, or LogRhythm. - Comfortable with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) security.
- Knowledge of network security, including protocols, encryption, firewalls, and security solutions such as Tanium.
- Experience managing and administering IAM and Directory services.
- Knowledge of current cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security frameworks.
- Experience with Cloud Security across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat actors, attack methodologies, infection vectors, and incident investigation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility to go on-site in London

- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, or similar.
- Previous experience within Higher Education, Public Sector or a large complex enterprise environment.
