Scrum Master/Product Owner

A global financial markets organisatio n is currently seeking a delivery-focused Product Owner/Scrum Master to support multiple technology modernisation initiatives. This role will sit within the Technology function and play a key part in driving delivery forward across platform and cloud-related transformation work, working closely with Product Owners, engineers and senior stakeholders.Job Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Initial 6 months
• Rate: up to £745pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
• Location: London
• Hybrid: 3 days in the office (mandatory)

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience operating as a Scrum Master and/or Product-focused delivery lead within technology transformation programmes, in banking or financial services.
• Very delivery-driven mindset, someone who takes ownership, pushes progress forward, and finds ways to make delivery happen in challenging environments.
• Excellent understanding of project and product delivery processes, with experience managing backlogs, prioritisation, sprint ceremonies and incremental delivery.
• Strong Excel skills, with confidence working with data, plans, metrics, and delivery reporting (Essential)
• Experience working alongside platform and product owners, particularly within areas such as cloud computing, technology modernisation, or platform delivery.
• Exposure to data migration, application migration, or technology systems change is highly beneficial.
• Comfortable working closely with technical teams to gather requirements, track progress, and remove blockers.
• Confident engaging stakeholders in person, able to chase actions, challenge constructively and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, go-getter attitude with a strong focus on continuous improvement and delivery outcomes.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and reviews.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence. (Essential)
