Senior Legal Counsel 6-month FTC

Your new company A leading international organisation is seeking a senior legal professional to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract. A start date of December is preferred, but a mid-January start is also considered. The business operates across multiple markets and is undergoing significant transformation, with a strong focus on technology, procurement, and commercial innovation. This role sits within a collaborative legal team supporting a wide range of work.Your new role You will provide legal support for indirect procurement, services (relating to Joint Ventures), and technology-related projects and contracts. This broad commercial role will involve:

• Advising on high-value, long-term service agreements for joint ventures in multiple jurisdictions
• Drafting and negotiating procurement contracts, including professional services, equipment purchase, and fleet and warehouse agreements
• Supporting technology procurement for entertainment platforms, including OEM agreements and component sourcing
• Advising on governance, in-life service issues, and strategic commercial transactions
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across customer care, supply chain, and tech teams

This is a hands-on role requiring autonomy, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex legal matters within a fast-paced environment.What you'll need to succeed You'll be a qualified lawyer with significant post-qualification experience (10-12 years+ PQE). Key requirements include:

• Strong commercial and procurement experience, particularly in the technology and telecoms sectors, with a track record of adding value to organisations
• Familiarity with OEM providers, SaaS agreements, and outsourcing arrangements
• Exposure to AI law, data protection, and fintech is desirable
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently, attempting to solve problems before turning to help
• Warm, collaborative approach
