Senior Project Manager

A leading global insurance and reinsurance company is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager t o join their IT team. This role will lead the inception phase of setting up a new business in the APAC region. The successful candidate will manage an IT project team to deliver critical applications required for establishing this new business.Job Details:

• Start date: 5th Jan 2026
• Duration: 1 year
• Rate: £600-£650pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
• Location: London
• Hybrid: 50/50 on-site requirements

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience delivering complex IT system projects in global enterprise environments.
• Strong project management background, with recent experience in insurance, is essential.
• Proven ability to manage change projects, including feasibility studies, business case development, and risk assessments.
• Experience implementing Policy Administration Systems (PAS) for specialty insurance.
• Skilled in project planning, scheduling, resourcing, and dependency management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate globally across businesses and cultures.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (SCRUM) and managing bespoke software development and system integration.
• Understanding of MGA, Lloyd's market, and specialty insurance operating models is desirable.
