£36,400-£45,000 + uncapped commission

We're looking for experienced recruitment consultants to help scale our high-performing Technology business in Bristol. This is a 360, specialist role where you'll take real ownership of your market, develop long-term client partnerships and position yourself as a trusted expert in your discipline.
Your Team:
You'll join a driven, collaborative Technology team focused on quality, credibility and long-term relationships. As a specialist consultant, you'll lead business development within a defined niche, build deep talent pools of in-demand professionals and identify opportunities across our wider Hays solutions, including PSL and MSP partnerships.
Your Role:
As a Technology Recruitment Consultant, you'll become a recognised subject-matter expert within one of our core areas:
Data
Cloud
Projects & Change
You'll either bring existing sector expertise or intentionally develop a new specialism with the support of market-leading training and leadership. Your role will be a balanced split between candidate and client engagement, with responsibility for:
Winning and developing new client relationships
Managing end-to-end recruitment processes
Delivering an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through post-placement support
Building long-term, value-driven partnerships rather than transactional relationships
Your success will be measured against three strategic priorities:
Building visibility and strong market relationships
Converting candidate networks into client opportunities
Establishing a reputation as a true recruiting expert in your niche
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Proven experience as a recruitment consultant (360 preferred)
Strong sales and business development capability, with a consultative approach
High levels of curiosity and commercial awareness to build deep market knowledge
Ambition, resilience and the drive to progress quickly in a performance-led environment
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
