Service Transition Lead

SERVICE TRANSITION LEAD 12-MONTH CONTRACT NEWCASTLE - HYBRID WORKING £490.00 / DAY / INSIDE Your new role A long-term contract opportunity for an experienced Service Transition Lead who will take responsibility for the Service Transition framework, creating operating models, risk management, developing required processes, and managing the acceptance criteria needed to ensure effective and efficient service setup and change.What you'll need to succeed Key areas of responsibility include;* Manage and improve the Service Transition framework, including documentation, RACI and processes* Work with Service Delivery teams to develop and mature Service Transition processes and policies.* Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective Service Designs* Collaborate with technical domain leads to integrate new technologies and solutions into service architectures* Develop and maintain comprehensive service-based documentation, including service models, processes and diagrams* Establish and operate Service Transition governance in alignment with service design and project framework CORE SKILLS:

• Formal ITIL v3/4 qualification [Foundation Certificate]
• Essential experience of ITIL Service Management framework within a large-scale, global enterprise environment.
• Experience of managing service transitions/projects following recognised project methodologies [e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMI, Agile, Waterfall]
• Experience of delivering business change - including matrix management of project/work stream teams
• Excellent customer service-focused approach
• Experience of delivering high-quality work across multiple workstreams while meeting challenging deadlines

What you'll get in return The contract will last until March 2027 - will pay £490.00 / Day (INSIDE of IR35) and the successful candidate will work on a Hybrid Basis attending site in Newcastle 2/3 days PER WEEK.
