Solutions Architect (Software Dev, AWS)Oxford (2 days per week in office)£80-90k + 10-20% Bonus, 12% Pension.This role cannot offer Visa Sponsorship.Your new company I am engaged on a project to recruit a Solutions Architect to join a leading global organisation at the forefront of digital content. The business operates within a highly collaborative, enterprise scale environment where architecture, engineering excellence, and modern cloud based solutions sit at the heart of everything they deliver.This role requires you to work a minimum of 2 days per week in their offices in Oxford.Your new role As a Solutions Architect, you'll take the technical lead across a sophisticated portfolio of digital platforms, shaping cohesive, scalable, end to end architectures. You'll partner with enterprise architecture and cross functional stakeholders to design, document, and guide complex multi system solutions, ensuring technical quality, performance, and long term maintainability.Acting as the architectural authority, you'll mentor development teams, influence technology direction, and drive best practice across cloud, integration, data and application design. In areas without an Application Architect, you'll step in hands on to steer delivery and uphold architectural standards across high profile, customer facing products.The role blends Architectural excellence and technical strategy to drive software best practice, aligning shared principles, supports delivery excellence, and ensures solutions meet expectations for performance, security, and long term maintainability.What you'll need to succeed We're seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a background in Software Development and expert Cloud knowledge (AWS).You should have previous experience leading/managing Software Dev teams to be considered for this role.You must have experience operating as a Solution or Application Architect in a complex global/enterprise level organisation.You'll have expert knowledge of Scrum/Kanban and scaled Agile Methodologies.What you'll get in return You'll receive a highly competitive benefits package including a 10-20% annual bonus, 12% pension match, private medical insurance, a digital GP service and optional onsite gym.
