Systems Accountant

Your new role As a Senior Systems Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the organisation's financial systems landscape. This is a senior, hands-on position responsible for leading the migration from a legacy ERP system to a modern finance platform over a multi-year programme. You will collaborate across Finance, IT, HR, and Operations to streamline processes, enhance data integrity, and improve reporting capabilities.Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading ERP system selection, implementation, and integration.
  • Managing financial systems operations and upgrades.
  • Driving process improvements and automation.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting business intelligence initiatives using tools like Power BI.
  • Providing training and support to finance teams.

What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • At least 5 years' experience in financial systems or data analysis.
  • Proven expertise in SAP FI (ECC6) and large-scale system implementations.
  • Strong skills in Power BI and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
