Technician 2

About the role As a Technician 2 with expertise in the IT domain, you will collaborate with our client's Technical team. You will be responsible for Technical/IT support.Our client is currently looking for a recruit to join their current team. Contract Period: 26-Sep-25- 26-Sep-25

Location: Taunton Roles and Responsibilities:

• De-Install - Ground Floor - 2x Quiet Rooms, 2x Counter Positions, 2x Admin Desks, 1x ID scanner, 1x Online banking desk, 1x Customer tablet & 1x Network Printer (Admin).
• De-Install - First Floor - 4x Quiet Rooms (4, 5, 6 & 7), 1x ID scanner & 1x Network Printer (Corridor on way out of fire escape on the right)
• Every engineer must ensure they have the appropriate PPE kit - hat, high-vis jacket, steel cap boots, goggles, gloves and nose mask, especially on sites that have been decommissioned and are not open branches.
• Storage boxes must be filled per position for removal from the site. - Please note that some sites may not be ready and may be undergoing construction work during the visit.

Other stuff we're potentially looking for:

• As part of your duties, it is imperative that you read and understand the documents and information contained within the email sent to you prior to your visit. You must be able to access this information on-site and also have a hard copy of the 'Sign-off sheet'. You also need to inform the projects team once onsite and again once work has been completed for any work (in and out of hours work).

• A daily rate, in-scope IR35, of £ 14.54/hr (PAYE) OR £ 18.87/hr (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
