Technician 3

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as an IT Support Engineer (L3).

Job Overview:

• Role: IT Support Engineer (L3 On-site)
• Location: Derby
• Contract: ASAP to 31-Dec-2026
• Mandatory check: Government SC
• Pay Rates:
• Umbrella Rate: £25.75/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
• PAYE Basic Rate: £19.85/hour
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday.
• Time: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• A technician is required to work within the Small Project team within the client's ego system.
• Installation and configuration of end-user devices (laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals)
• On-site hardware deployments (including desk setups, IT equipment swaps, and upgrades)
• Basic network tasks (patching, connectivity checks, and troubleshooting)
• Assisting with office moves, MACs (Moves, Adds, Changes)
• Must be SC cleared
