Technician 3

About the role As a technician 3, we are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to support a large-scale OS migration project. You'll play a key role in upgrading end-user devices to Windows 11, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency across the organisation.Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)Location - City Centre 8 Surrey Street - Norwich NR1 3NG Contract Duration - 3 months Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute Windows 11 deployment across enterprise environments
• Perform pre-deployment assessments and readiness checks
• Configure and manage deployment tools (Intune, SCCM, Autopilot)
• Troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment issues
• Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure a smooth rollout
• Document processes, configurations, and lessons learned
• Provide training or guidance to end users as needed

Other stuff we're potentially looking for:

• Proven experience in Windows 10/11 deployment projects
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM)
• Familiarity with Autopilot, Group Policy, and Active Directory
• Experience with imaging, scripting (PowerShell), and device provisioning
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr (PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
