2 x SC Cleared Python Software Developers
We are working with a client who is a global leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, committed to delivering positive change through technology and human collaboration. They are seeking two experienced Application Developers to support Public Sector programmes. The successful contractors will work remotely, contributing to the development of scalable, secure application solutions using modern Application Server technologies and cloud-native tooling.
Your role will be to design, develop and maintain application services using Python, as well as developing and optimising SQL-based data interactions. Build and consume APIs using modern integration platforms (WebMethods, Kong). Work with JSON-based data structures and message formats. Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker. Contribute to cloud-based solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure. Ensure code quality, security, and performance best practices are followed. Collaborate with distributed delivery teams in a Public Sector environment.
Candidates will only be considered if they can evidence strong commercial experience with Python development. Solid SQL skills for data querying and manipulation. API design and development experience. Hands-on experience with WebMethods and/or Kong. Experience building and deploying containerised solutions using Docker. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and experience working on secure or Public Sector programmes.
