Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Mobile IT Engineer to deliver our innovative IT Express Centre (ITEC) service across both our central hub and regional branch locations. This is a hybrid role with a balance of on-site support (3 days/week) and mobile branch support (2 days/week), designed to bring fast, friendly, and effective IT help directly to our users.

Rate: PAYE - £19.85/hr (Basic) or UMB - £25.77
Start/End Date: 18-Aug-2026 to 31-Dec-2026
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30
Job Description
- Provide front-line IT support at the central hub site, assisting customers with a wide range of IT issues including hardware, software, connectivity, and account access.
- Travel to designated branches and speaking sites to deliver a Pop-Up IT Express Centre service, offering hands-on support and advice to local staff and customers.
- Set up and maintain mobile IT support infrastructure (eg, laptops, signage, connectivity) for pop-up deployments.
- Act as a liaison between end users and technical teams, escalating complex issues as required.
- Document issues, solutions, and feedback using our internal ticketing and reporting systems.
- Ensure excellent customer service and clear communication, promoting IT support offerings and encouraging best practices among users.
- Contribute to service improvements by identifying recurring issues or opportunities for better user engagement.
