2nd Line Support Engineer - Windows, Microsoft 365

My client is seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide hands-on and remote support across a fast-paced, business-critical environment, acting as an escalation point for technical issues and supporting a wide range of end-user technologies.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in 2nd Line Support, Desktop Support or End User Computing.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and user access management.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, Wi-Fi and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting, configuring and deploying end-user devices.
  • Strong incident management and ticketing system experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage issues through to resolution.
  • Comfortable providing both onsite and remote support on a shift pattern.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in healthcare, regulated or business-critical environments.
  • ServiceNow or similar ITSM experience.
  • Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager exposure.
  • ITIL knowledge.
  • Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL certifications.
