Data Governance Lead

JOB DETAILS
- £450-£550 Per Day
- Inside IR35
- 3-5 Days per week in either Cardiff or Newport office.
- 6-Month contract

SKILLS
- Extensive experience in leading Data Governance projects.
- Strong skills in creating policy documents in relation to Data Quality and Data Cleansing.
- In-depth understanding of creating a framework to improve data efficiency and compliance.
- Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement an enterprise data governance framework to roll out DQaaS (Data Quality as a Service) to define Data Subject Areas (DSAs).- Mapping Create, Read, Update, Delete (CRUD) responsibilities across systems.
- Achieve Data Quality targets in migration in alignment with the programme plan.
- Drive Data owner and steward engagement for issue resolution.
- Provide Data Quality reporting and insights to establish regular reporting to monitor progress and inform decision-makers.
- Embed sustainable Data Governance post-migration to ensure long-term improvements in Data Management, Data Practice and Data Stewardship.
