Data Workstream Lead

Your new company

You will be joining a dynamic organisation embarking on their programme, a major strategic initiative to deliver a new integrated approach to managing core business processes through the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Your new role

As the Data Lead, you will be engaged for an 18-month period to define and structure our approach to data migration, data integration, reporting, and data quality activities. You will work across workstreams, with the implementation partner, and other stakeholders to ensure a realistic plan for delivering the required data capability. Your role will involve managing a workstream of 15-20 people, providing leadership, and driving the creation and implementation of a coordinated plan across architecture, migration, integration, and reporting. You will also engage with 3rd party data service vendors, understand user requirements, ensure data quality, and support data architecture decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in leading data workstreams on major system transformation programmes.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Ability to develop and communicate a compelling vision for data within a programme.
• Experience in creating and driving coordinated plans across architecture, migration, integration, and reporting.
• Knowledge of data quality evaluation and data architecture principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with 3rd party vendors and engaging with data roles (stewards, managers, and owners).
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data strategies.
