Your new role
As an IT Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining reliable IT services across a multi-site educational environment, joining an established team of IT professionals. Working closely with colleagues across the wider IT team across the 2 sites, you will provide first and second-line support to staff, students and apprentices, troubleshooting incidents through to resolution, fulfilling service requests, and carrying out routine system changes. You will be responsible for managing and updating tickets within the IT service management system, ensuring issues are prioritised appropriately and escalated when necessary. Alongside day-to-day support, you will help maintain and enhance the organisation's technology infrastructure through proactive maintenance, asset management, equipment deployment and IT security best practice. You will contribute to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives, identify trends and recurring issues, maintain technical documentation, and support the development of junior team members through mentoring and coaching. What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this role, you will have first and ideally, second line IT support experience, with a passion for delivering a high level of IT support in an educational setting. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are required, as well as, ideally, an IT qualification. Experience working on a service desk and as an IT analyst would be advantageous.
