IT Supplier and Contracts Manager

A well-established public sector organisation based in Leeds is seeking an experienced IT Contracts and Supplier Manager on a permanent basis to join its growing digital and technology function. Your new role
Reporting into a senior technology leader, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT contracts and supplier agreements, ensuring maximum value, compliance, and service delivery across the organisation.Key responsibilities include:

• Managing IT contracts from initiation through to renewal, variation, and termination
• Acting as the primary contact for suppliers and contract-related matters
• Monitoring supplier performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual commitments
• Working closely with procurement, legal, finance, and technology teams
• Maintaining contract records and governance documentation
• Providing commercial and contractual advice to support projects and procurement activities
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and service improvement
• Leading supplier review meetings and relationship management activities
• Producing performance and risk reports for senior stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience managing IT supplier contracts and commercial relationships
• Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience monitoring supplier performance and managing contractual risk
• Knowledge of governance, compliance, and data protection requirements
• Ability to work effectively with technical, procurement, finance, and legal teams
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills

Experience within IT contract management, the public sector, or higher education would be highly advantageous.
