IT Support Officer

**FULLY REMOTE (OCCASIONAL TRAVEL)**

This is an ideal role for someone looking to build a career in IT.

You'll be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support, including helpdesk tasks like password resets and basic troubleshooting. Around 80% of your time will be spent on core IT support, working with technologies like Active Directory, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft Teams, while the remaining 20% will involve learning and contributing to projects in automation, security, and the Microsoft Power Platform.

Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of IT Service Desk operations and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of hardware/software configurations and troubleshooting.
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and newer client operating systems.
• Ability to accurately record and interpret user information to resolve issues.
• Active Directory administration (password resets)
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts in accessible terms.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on documentation and customer interaction records.

Experience

• Significant experience in IT support roles.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with patience and professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving both hardware and software issues.
