PMO Lead
We're looking for an experienced PMO Lead to take ownership of a portfolio-level PMO within a Technology & Operations environment. This is a high-impact contract role where you'll shape governance, uplift capability, and bring structure, assurance and confidence to delivery.
Working closely with the Project Delivery Management Capability Lead, you'll lead a small PMO team, embed best practice, and play a key role in maturing a developing PMO function. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on building, improving and influencing at senior level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the PMO and its governance, controls and standards
- Providing portfolio-level assurance, planning and reporting
- Delivering clear senior stakeholder reporting on health, risk, dependencies and capacity
- Driving continuous improvement and PMO maturity
- Acting as a trusted adviser on delivery assurance and resourcing
What you'll bring:
- A high level of experience in PMO / project delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Solid experience with MS tooling (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
- Confidence operating in complex, multi-project portfolios
- Government delivery experience and dash boarding experience a plus
This position will require the post holder to operate a minimum of 3 days per week on-site in Milton Keynes. It is also subject to SC level security clearance. If you are interested in applying for this position, you must be eligible to obtain this level of clearance.
