SC Cleared Security Assurance Specialist
We are working with a client who is a global leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, committed to delivering positive change through technology and human collaboration. They are looking for an SC Cleared Security Assurance Specialist to help them maintain oversight of cybersecurity risks across suppliers and ensure risks are identified, assessed, recorded, tracked, and appropriately escalated.
Your job will be to govern risk acceptance and exception management processes. Support risk-based prioritisation across security disciplines. Coordinate supplier compliance activities within the SIAM framework. Validate supplier adherence to agreed security requirements. Monitor security performance against contractual obligations. Drive accountability for control weaknesses, non-compliance, and improvement actions. Maintain visibility of compliance obligations and control requirements. Support compliance against frameworks and standards, including: ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF), NCSC guidance.
You will follow Secure by Design principles. Coordinate remediation of identified compliance gaps. Produce consolidated security governance reporting. Provide visibility of security risks, compliance status, control effectiveness, supplier performance, and assurance findings. Present governance information to client stakeholders and governance forums. Support strategic planning and risk-informed decision-making. Drive security governance maturity improvements across the supplier landscape. Identify opportunities to improve: risk management, compliance processes, assurance effectiveness, security governance practices. Support continuous improvement programmes across the cybersecurity operating model. Facilitate cross-supplier resolution of governance issues.
In order to apply, you must have active SC Level Clearance in place. You must be able to evidence skills and experience in Security Assurance along with awareness of standards such as SO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF), and NCSC guidance.

No sponsorship is available. This role will involve hybrid working at a site in the Manchester area - expected on site 1 day per week with 4 days from home on average.
