Technical Operations Manager - 6-month FTC

Your new role
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who combines strong technical knowledge with project management and operational leadership skills. You'll work closely with the Head of Technology and wider stakeholders across the organisation, taking ownership of technology operations, process improvements, documentation, cybersecurity initiatives and a range of business-critical projects.
We're looking for a self-starter who can quickly establish themselves, identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Technology Operations Manager, IT Operations Manager or similar technology leadership role.
- Strong Microsoft technology background, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrable experience delivering operational and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong process mapping and documentation skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance and policy development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, highly organised and capable of working autonomously.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to support operational activities when required.
What you'll get in return
£60-65k Annual Salary, 2 days in the office per week
