This role will see you owning cyber security operations, GRC and elements of IT/OT, and delivering on an overarching and multi-faceted cyber strategy.The ideal candidate will have worked in a hands-on leadership capacity previously, and will have experience developing, feeding into or owning a cyber security strategy.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and evolve the Cyber Security Strategy for the organisationLead the current team of technical cyber security individuals and drive the growth of the GRC side of the teamWork with other business units to make cyber a priority and bring it into more focusOwn the cyber security strategy and drive it at senior levels, influencing senior stakeholders with effective articulation of business and operational risk in clear and pragmatic terms.Remain hands‐on in the day‐to‐day operation of cyber security, including:Incident response and investigation.Security tooling, monitoring, and vulnerability management.Supplier and third‐party risk assessment.Lead and participate in cyber incident response exercises and real incidentsOwn cyber risk management and contribute to the enterprise risk register.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials, ICS security guidance).Define and maintain cyber security policies, standards, and procedures across IT and OT.Support audits, assessments, and regulatory or customer assurance activities.Experience requiredExperience owning a cyber security strategy encompassing SecOps, GRC and elements of OT/ITExperience strategically building out teams to achieve a better security postureExperience maintaining or achieving compliance with Cyber Essentials + or other similar accreditations and frameworksPeople management experienceBenefitsCompetitive car allowance / cash alternativePrivate Medical insuranceDIS BenefitsSimply HealthPension 6% ERS #4799265 - James Dilks
