Job Overview

As a Product Owner, you will be helping to shape and optimise the online shopping experience for millions of customers. You’ll play a key role in improving how users browse, buy and pay online, including delivering a seamless and compliant Open Banking journey.

This role sits within a small, agile squad working on a new product under NDA. You’ll own product improvements end‐to‐end, from identifying customer problems through to delivering solutions and optimising performance post‐launch.

Role details

  • Location: London (hybrid working)
  • Contract rate: £500 per day (inside IR35)
  • Contract length: 6 months (with visibility to extend)

Key responsibilities

  • Use customer behaviour data, analytics and research to identify issues and opportunities across the ecommerce journey, particularly within the shop and checkout flow.
  • Shape product ideas and improvements that increase conversion and improve the overall online shopping experience.
  • Own product initiatives end‐to‐end, from discovery and definition through to delivery, launch and ongoing optimisation.
  • Work closely with designers and developers to deliver intuitive, high‐quality digital experiences on time and within budget.
  • Prioritise work based on customer impact, business value and delivery effort, ensuring alignment with wider business goals.
  • Ensure Open Banking journeys are simple to use, meet regulatory requirements, and fit seamlessly within the website experience.

Key requirements

  • Proven experience as an Ecommerce or Digital Product Manager working on customer‐facing websites or journeys.
  • Strong experience working in agile delivery teams, collaborating closely with designers, developers and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using data and insight to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Highly organised, detail‐focused and able to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to align priorities and challenge thinking where needed.
  • A passion for improving customer experience and delivering meaningful business outcomes.
