Your new roleAs a Solution Designer/Infrastructure Lead, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure specialists, and delivery teams, you will play a key role in ensuring technology solutions align with strategic objectives and architectural standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing end-to-end technology solutions across infrastructure, networks, and cyber securityTranslating business requirements into technical designs and solution specificationsDeveloping and maintaining solution architecture documentation, standards, and blueprintsEnsuring solutions are secure, integrated, scalable, and fit for purposeProviding technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycleCollaborating with technical and business teams to deliver successful outcomesEvaluating emerging technologies and recommending suitable solutionsConducting risk assessments and supporting mitigation planningFacilitating stakeholder workshops to gather and validate requirementsSupporting Agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement initiativesWhat you'll need to succeedProven experience in Solution Design, Solution Architecture, or a Technical Lead doing a similar roleStrong background in infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cyber security technologiesExperience designing secure and scalable enterprise solutions within complex environmentsStrong understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, and technical governanceExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skillsExperience working within Agile delivery environmentsAbility to translate business needs into practical technical solutionsExperience within public sector, or similarly complex organisations would be advantageous.
