Interim Head of IT Category Management
Your new company
Our client operates globally and is leading the way when it comes to technology and manufacturing combined. Based in the heart of London, you will support their Procurement efforts as Interim Head of IT Category Management. This organisation has grown through acquisition over the years and, as a result, is undergoing lots of procurement transformation.
Your new role
As the interim Head of IT Category Management, you will first be responsible for people management, leading 1-2-1 reviews, and driving team strategy. You will also be driving category strategy across the entire technology portfolio. As well as the strategic side, you will also be hands-on, in terms of delivering sourcing processes, leading negotiations, and establishing supplier governance strategies in order to develop supplier capabilities.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a proven leader, with people management experience. You will also be a subject expert within IT Procurement and aligning best practice with strategic direction. You will be a strong communicator in order to engage with all relevant stakeholders and drive the best outcomes for the business.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive daily rate, paid weekly. This role is inside IR35, so you will work via an umbrella company, or PAYE directly via Hays. This role offers hybrid working, but you must be able to work from the central London office a few days per week.
