Your new role
We have an opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join our client’s team in London. The team works on hybrid working basis and are also open to remote opportunities.
- Contract: 3 months initially
- Daily rate: £600 per day through umbrella
Security Business Analyst responsibilities
- Provide Product Managers with accurate, expert, effective and timely advice on the development and management of consumer-facing products and services (including consumer law and contracts, product regulation and product safety).
- Draft contracts for complex and sophisticated transactions (including strategic global partnerships) and support commercial colleagues in their negotiation with third parties to achieve contractual arrangements which accurately reflect the business requirements.
- Advise on the impact and implementation of consumer and product regulation, including contributing to horizon scanning for new UK and EU laws and developments.
- Develop and maintain effective contacts with key stakeholders including, Senior Leadership Teams, Product Managers, legal teams in local markets and other teams within Group Legal & Business Integrity.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Solicitor or barrister (qualified to practice law in the UK or at least one European jurisdiction) with 3 -6+ years’ relevant experience.
- Experience advising on consumer-facing products and services preferred.
- Experience of drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Experience working on multiple projects at once with an ability to prioritize and plan time effectively, providing accurate, pragmatic, and actionable advice to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate with impact to senior, legal, and commercial audiences using a variety of communication styles.
- Solicitor or barrister (qualified to practice law in the UK or at least one European jurisdiction)
- 3 -6+ PQE years’ experience gained either in-house and/or at a leading law firm.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
