Project Co‐ordinator (Agile & Waterfall / Programme Support)
Experienced Project Co‐ordinator supporting the Programme Manager and wider management team in the delivery of a major IT programme.
Based in Hatfield (Hybrid 2/3 days per week)

The role combines Agile (Scrum) team support with Waterfall delivery governance, ensuring effective coordination, robust programme documentation, and clear visibility of delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, with a key focus on enabling strong stakeholder engagement, maintaining programme-level plans, and ensuring consistent use of tooling (Jira and Confluence as mandatory platforms).
Experience Required
2–4 years’ experience as a Project Co‐ordinator, PMO Analyst, or Agile team support role within IT delivery Experience supporting Programme Managers or senior delivery leads
Strong working knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies, waterfall delivery and governance frameworks
Proven experience maintaining Programme plans, RAID logs, and reporting packs, delivery documentation and artefacts
Mandatory experience with Jira and Confluence (configuration, tracking, reporting)
Familiarity with Delivery lifecycle (requirements, build, test, release) & Collaboration tools (MS Teams, Miro, Azure DevOps)
Programme Manager and programme leadership team across multiple workstreams
Work with Scrum teams and traditional project delivery structures
Alignment between team-level delivery and programme-level objectives
Consistent documentation, reporting, and governance standards
Operates in an environment with cross-team dependencies and stakeholder complexi ty

Key Responsibilities
Programme & Delivery Support
Support the Programme Manager and leadership team with:
Programme planning and coordination activities
Status reporting and governance cadence
Maintain and update Programme plans and milestones & RAID logs
Ensure alignment between team delivery and programme priorities
Agile & Team Su pport
Facilitate or support Sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Track backlog delivery and sprint progress using Jira
Help identify and remove or escalate delivery blockers
Support Product Owners with backlog hygiene and prioritisation tracking
Governance & Documentation
Own and maintain programme artefacts in Confluence
Ensure consistent and high-quality Documentation standards
Version control and audit trail
Produce and maintain Status reports, dashboards, and summary packs for stakeholders
Support governance forums (e.g. steerco, programme rev iews)
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a key coordination point between, Programme leadership, Delivery teams & Business stakeholders
Ensure clear communication of progress, risks, and dependencies
Build effective relationships to enable collaboration and remove friction
Continuous Improvement
Support improvements in, Delivery processes and governance standards, Reporting clarity and consistency
Encourage adoption of good Agile and programme practices
Drive incremental improvements in delivery predictability and transparency

Qualifications (Desirable)
PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent
Agile certification (e.g. PSM ,CSM)
Exposure to PMO or programme governance frameworks
