We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Recruitment Team Manager to lead our Technology team in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a temp desk, lead a team of four consultants, and play a key role in driving the next phase of growth.

We are currently in a scale-up phase, with plans to double the size of the team over the next 12 months. The team specialises in the automotive technology sector, with a footprint across Data, Cloud, Software Development and Projects & Change.

Alongside building your own desk, you will have the opportunity to operate across the entire UK market. We already have strong, established relationships with OEMs such as Mercedes, Volkswagen and BMW. The focus now is on expanding our footprint by winning new business and supplying into Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers within the automotive ecosystem.

The Milton Keynes office is home to around 20 consultants working across Professional Services, Construction, Technology, Procurement, HR and Business Support, covering a large geographical area with an impressive client base of both blue‐chip organisations and SMEs. Located right in the heart of Milton Keynes, the office benefits from excellent transport links, modern infrastructure, and a thriving local economy powered by logistics, IT, and retail. Your New Role

In this position, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of four Recruitment Consultants, supporting them to achieve and exceed targets
  • Drive team performance, setting clear direction and delivering revenue growth across the market
  • Operate your own 360 temporary desk, remaining hands-on in the market
  • Build and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders across Birmingham and surrounding areas
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Support the team with complex roles, client strategy and overall desk development
  • Ensure high standards of service, compliance and operational delivery across the team
  • Contribute to the wider office strategy and ongoing success

What you’ll need to succeed

You will have experience as a Recruitment Manager, Senior Consultant or above, ideally within Technology or another complex, technical or regulated market. You’ll bring a strong track record in contract or permanent recruitment, business development and team leadership.

You’ll be commercially driven, confident influencing senior stakeholders, and passionate about developing others. Strong communication skills, high standards of professionalism and a proactive, curious mindset will be essential as you build market share and strengthen our position across Technology.
