Location: Waterside, London

Contract ended: 6-9 months(possibility of extension)

Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)

Rate: £500-600 per day through UMBRELLA (Inside IR35)

Job purpose:

As an Oracle HCM Data Migration Analyst, you are responsible for providing hands-on expertise and support in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of HR and Payroll data into Oracle Cloud HCM. You serve as a subject matter expert in data mapping, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation, with a strong understanding of functional requirements and Oracle HCM data structures. You play a critical role in executing and supporting data migration activities across key workstreams, ensuring accuracy, quality, and completeness of data at each stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end migration of data from legacy systems (e.g., Oracle eBS) into Oracle HCM Cloud, focusing on specific functional modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence, or Talent.
  • Support design and implementation of the ETL routines and data transformation logic in alignment with business requirements.
  • Develop and validate data mappings between legacy systems and Oracle Cloud HCM schemas.
  • Cleanse, enrich, and reconcile large volumes of HR data to ensure accuracy and readiness for migration.
  • Support unit testing and data-related defect resolution across SIT and UAT phases.
  • Assist in developing test scenarios and provide data to support test execution.
  • Collaborate with the Data Migration Lead, functional consultants, technical developers, and testing teams to ensure migration activities are aligned and integrated.
  • Analyse and resolve data issues, escalating risks and recommending mitigation actions.
  • Contribute to data certification, cutover, and post-go-live support activities as required.
  • Share knowledge of Oracle HCM data models, best practices, and functional dependencies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience delivering Oracle HCM data migration activities within implementation or transformation programmes.
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud data structures and business processes.
  • Strong SQL and ETL development skills with the ability to analyse and transform complex data sets.
  • Experience with legacy HR systems such as Oracle eBS is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR Technology, or a related field.
  • Oracle HCM certification or module-specific experience (e.g., Core HR, Payroll)
