Senior Project Manager

Join a leading telecommunications company as a Senior Project Manager!

Take ownership of strategic finance transformation projects within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role involves managing complex initiatives across systems, data, and process improvements, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Contract Details

• Contract Rate: £600 per day (inside IR35)
• Location: Reading/London (hybrid – twice per week on-site)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks rolling (up to 2 years)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale, strategic projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Drive governance processes, reporting, and portfolio-level visibility.
• Engage with senior stakeholders (including SLT) to ensure alignment and clear communication.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Champion change management and business readiness activities.
• Mentor and oversee Junior PMs and graduates.

Key Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-domain projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in project methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, MSP).
• Ability to work independently, drive outcomes, and manage ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Self-starter with ability to operate in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
• Telecommunications experience is desired.
