About the role
As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will design and articulate end‐to‐end, customer‐centric solutions during the pre‐sales and bid lifecycle, translating business and technical requirements into compelling, deliverable and commercially viable offerings. You will work closely with sales, product, delivery and engineering teams to shape winning propositions, support customer engagements, and ensure solutions are scalable, low risk and aligned to organisational strategy.

Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the end‐to‐end solution definition for large, complex, multi‐tower
- Engage directly with customers, including CxO‐level stakeholders, to understand business objectives, requirements and strategic drivers.
- Develop differentiated value propositions demonstrating how VOIS solutions meet customer needs and outcomes.
- Create integrated, multi‐tower technical and service solutions, collaborating with domain and technology solution architects.
- Define platform and integration architectures in collaboration with technology architects.
- Own the solution throughout the bid lifecycle, acting as the single solution owner.
- Define end‐to‐end delivery, staffing and resourcing models, aligned with service tower delivery owners.
- Drive make/buy and partner decisions to optimise delivery, cost, risk and capability.
- Produce consolidated effort, location and cost estimates, feeding pricing and commercial models.
- Quantify delivery certainty, risks and assumptions to support sound commercial and bid decisions.
- Support contract negotiations to ensure solution scope, dependencies and assumptions are clearly documented to protect margins.
- Ensure a smooth handover from sales to delivery, transferring full solution context and documentation
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
- 10+ years experience in a pre‐sales Solution Architect role within a large professional services or managed services organisation.
- 15+ years experience in one or more service domains: Technology, Customer Care, Business Services, HR, Supply Chain or Finance.
- Proven expertise in complex effort estimation, staffing pyramids and productivity modelling.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, influencing senior executives and C‐suite customers.
- Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
