Your new role
We have the opportunity of a Strategic Workforce Planning Lead to join our client’s team in Paddington, London . The team works on hybrid working basis and are also open to remote opportunities.
- Contract Length : 3 months
- Daily rate : Competitive pay rate (Inside IR35)
- Hours : 24 hours a week
Role Purpose
As Strategic Workforce Planning Lead, you will be delivering multiple Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) pilots together with the Organisational Effectiveness Team. You will lead focused Strategic Workforce Planning discussions with senior leaders across selected functions and translate business priorities into clear and measurable workforce implications. You will collate, organise, and integrate relevant workforce demand and supply data and build robust Excel‐based models, capturing forecasted data and scenario options. You will synthesise complex information into concise, executive‐ready insights. Alongside this, you will develop and deliver a practical, scalable SWP toolkit.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in delivering Strategic Workforce Planning in complex matrix organisations, preferably in consulting environments (Essential)
- Advanced Excel skills and SWP Excel data modelling (Essential)
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to simplify complex problems into clear frameworks, narratives and decision-ready insights
- Experience working with HR data related to workforce supply (e.g. skills, roles, locations and cost) and demand
- Experience in designing methodologies, frameworks or planning tools (Desirable)
