Projects and Change Manager

The Projects and Change Manager will lead and deliver medium to large-scale technology and business process change projects, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with organisational objectives. The role will focus on digital transformation initiatives, system implementations, and process optimisation, while embedding change management principles across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-focused projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to budget.
  • Champion organisational change initiatives, working collaboratively with business stakeholders to redesign and optimise processes where required.
  • Develop comprehensive project and change management plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business units, and external partners, ensuring effective and transparent communication.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across project and change activities, proactively developing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare regular updates for leadership, and ensure all documentation is maintained to a high standard.
  • Prepare and maintain realistic project plans and documentation, providing accurate progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support stakeholder engagement and adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Implement change control procedures and manage dependencies effectively.
  • Promote best practices in project and change management, contributing to the continuous improvement of methodologies and tools within the team.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management and change management, with a focus on technology-driven transformations.
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale projects in complex organisational environments.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, redesign, and optimisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) and change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci) is highly desirable.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in project management, business, or a related field is preferred.
