Remote (occasional travel to Croydon, London)

Rate:
£450 - £475 per day (via Umbrella)

We're looking for an experienced
Test Lead
to manage and execute both manual and automated testing activities across critical systems.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment, working alongside developers, support teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure software services.

What you'll do

• Execute manual and automated test cases across regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Log, track, and re-test defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
• Maintain test environments, data sets, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with developers and analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and release management processes.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience in software testing and QA leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Working knowledge of SQL and API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ISTQB Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain).
