Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Create automated solutions to improve operational aspects of the site and proactively manage failures.
- Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and operations teams to enhance system performance.
- Analyze incidents to prevent future disruptions and develop standardized solutions for reuse.
What You'll Need
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in C# and TypeScript, comfortable working across platforms and managing large monorepos with Bazel.
- Skilled in managing configuration, deployments, observability, handling and resolving incidents, including root cause analysis.
- Expertise in building and scaling infrastructure services using Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure with tools like Kubernetes, Istio, EKS, Kafka, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and logging systems like the ELK stack.
