Head Resourcing is pleased to be working with our Edinburgh based financial services client as they look to hire a talented Lead Business Analyst. Our client provides a range of outsourced investment services to private banks, advisory businesses, and wealth managers and have offices in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

In this role you will be a key member of the Change and IT team, responsible for managing and motivating a team of analysts and overseeing a portfolio of change initiatives and small to medium sized projects as well as enhancing BA standards within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, motivate, and develop a team of analysts
• Oversee a portfolio of change initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope and quality standards
• Help shape resource and capacity roadmap planning to ensure optimal allocation and utilisation of resource
• Engage with clients and third parties to accurately capture and address requirements, enhancing stakeholder satisfaction
• Attend and lead project meetings and workshops, facilitating understanding between business and technical teams

Required Skills:

• Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis
• Experience managing a team of analysts, including people development
• Writing comprehensive business requirements
• Conducting data and systems mapping and creating process maps
• Conducting and overseeing testing phases
• Experience with project governance and leading project meetings and workshops
• Managing stakeholders and facilitating client and third-party interactions

Desirable:

• Experience with cloud migrations
• IT system upgrade experience
• JIRA, Visio, MS Project
