Now, as they enter an exciting new phase of growth, they're looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to play a key role in shaping the user experience across a suite of interconnected technical products.

This is more than a design role. It's an opportunity to influence how complex, technical systems become intuitive, accessible and genuinely enjoyable to use.

The Opportunity

You'll work at the heart of the Technology & Product Futures team, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to:

  • Shape user journeys across multiple products
  • Conduct meaningful UX research and usability testing
  • Translate complex requirements into simple, elegant solutions
  • Design wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity interfaces
  • Contribute to and evolve a scalable design system
  • Ensure accessibility, consistency and quality across the product suite

You'll be trusted to take ownership of defined problem spaces, delivering thoughtful, well-executed solutions while contributing to the ongoing evolution of design practices. xkybehq

  • Strong command of tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards
  • Experience conducting usability testing and synthesising insights
  • Ability to design polished, intuitive interfaces with minimal oversight
  • Confidence collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS or basic JavaScript
  • Experience in complex or highly technical domains
  • Hands-on moderation of user research sessions

Why Join?

  • Be part of a high-growth, innovation-driven company
  • Work on meaningful, technically sophisticated products
  • Contribute within an employee-owned culture where your voice matters
  • Join a collaborative team that values curiosity, respect and bold thinking
  • Hybrid working with regular collaboration in Edinburgh

If you're a designer who thrives on solving complex problems, values thoughtful collaboration, and wants your work to power real-world innovation - I'd love to hear from you.
