IT Project Manager

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager ready to lead transformative change? About the Role

As our IT Project Manager, you’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple system implementation projects, working closely with selected vendors and internal stakeholders. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.

This role offers the opportunity to present directly to the Executive Committee, manage handovers to BAU, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that shape the future of our organisation.

What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience delivering vendor-led system implementations in medium-sized private sector organisations.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions such as Finance, HR, Case Management, or CRM systems.
  • Strong technical acumen in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Skilled in project planning, stakeholder management, vendor liaison, and risk mitigation.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Project/Planner, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences including C-Suite stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach with a passion for driving change.
Qualifications
  • PRINCE2-certified or equivalent (e.g., PRINCE2 Agile, DSDM, MSP).

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of up to three initial system implementation projects.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including SoWs, risk/issue registers, and status reports.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal SMEs to manage deliverables and integration requirements.
  • Report progress, risks, and issues to the Transformation Programme team.
  • Present regular updates to the Executive Committee.
  • Manage smooth transitions to BAU and support post-implementation reviews.
  • Champion best practices and contribute to evolving project delivery frameworks.

Required Criteria

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • MS applications, Jira project management and MS project planner
  • Prince-2 certified or equivalent project/programme management certifications (Prince-2 Agile, DSDM, MSP)

Desired Criteria

  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
