Junior BI Developer

The Opportunity: Junior BI Developer We are seeking a highly motivated Junior BI Developer to join our team at HealthTrust Europe. As a Junior BI Developer, you will primarily focus on maintaining and enhancing existing BI dashboards and reports, to support the ongoing and evolving operational needs of the HTE business. This includes operational KPI’s, commercial opportunity analysis, MI and much more, for both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will work on projects to create new reporting objects and capabilities with senior members of the team.The role offers the opportunity to develop core BI skills across a broad range of areas such as front-end visualisations, data modelling and data preparation / wrangling. Working as part of a wider ‘Data & Insight’ team, you will take an interest in the Healthtrust business, building knowledge and experience that will be invaluable to delivering optimal commercial reports and insights.This is a great opportunity for an aspiring ‘BI Developer’ looking to build a career in the data and insight field and grow both technical and professional skills.Who are we?   • 1st line of support for the BI team’s portfolio of live reporting and dashboards assets.
  • Work through an ongoing backlog of enhancement requests and fixes to dashboards and reports, managed through an internal Salesforce casework system. 
  • Project-based work to support the development of new reporting capabilities and outputs.
  • Creating additional or making changes to, visualisations and data-models in Power BI / Excel - translating structured and unstructured data into useful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Interfacing with key data-sources via our Fabric Platform, data-files (Excel, CSV etc) and SharePoint.
  • Analytical cases, from simple to more advanced (by learning our datasets and working with stakeholders),
  • Commercial partnering, developing, maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • The use of Excel and other Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Data Visualisation (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc).
  • Basic data manipulation, such as cleansing or standardisation.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Delivering accurate work in-line with requirements.
  • Attention to detail and natural analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
