We are now seeking a Solution Delivery Specialist to join our Technology division and play a key role in delivering impactful business and IT change. The Role Reporting to the Head of IT, the Solution Delivery Specialist will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects across the Society. You will manage the full project lifecycle
- from gathering requirements and defining scope, through to delivery, testing, and handover
- ensuring solutions meet both business objectives and technical standards. You'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to translate requirements into actionable solutions, while keeping projects on track and risks under control. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of software and business change projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines. Develop and manage detailed project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, and resources. Collaborate with stakeholders across retail operations, marketing, finance, and IT to capture requirements and drive success. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and adapt plans to ensure timely delivery. Oversee testing, UAT, and solution validation to ensure functionality and performance. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, producing reports and updates on progress, risks, and key milestones. Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes. About You We're looking for someone who is hands-on, driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be comfortable leading projects, building relationships across teams, and balancing technical detail with business priorities. Essential Experience & Skills: Proven track record of managing projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation to delivery. Experience of delivering both Agile and Waterfall projects. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences. Experience in business change projects, particularly those involving IT system introduction and process improvement. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills. Desirable: Experience within the retail sector. Professional certification in project management (PMP, CSM, PMI, or equivalent). Personal Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-focused. Calm under pressure, with the ability to meet deadlines. Passionate about new technologies but equally comfortable working with legacy systems.
