Senior DevOps Engineer - Leeds Remote - £75,000

An exceptional opportunity for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to join this highly successful organisation based in Leeds. Our client is one of the UK’s largest professional services organisations, with a nationwide presence. The role will focus on working closely with engineers, service management, and information security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.

The ideal candidate will have extensive DevOps experience within a major organisation.

Key areas of the role:

• Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for Dynamics 365 and Azure services.
• Automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
• Developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts and Azure Automation runbooks.
• Planning and coordinating the migration from Octopus Deploy to Azure DevOps.
• Managing infrastructure as code using ARM templates and Terraform.
• Overseeing release planning and environment management across development, testing, and production.
• Implementing monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Creating dashboards and reports with Power BI to visualise system performance.
• Ensuring security and compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, RBAC, and NSGs.
• Conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments using Azure Security Centre.
• Collaborating across engineering teams to align goals and resolve technical issues.
• Mentoring junior team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for Azure-related issues.
• Participating in an on-call rota to support platform operations.

The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. The organisation has a great culture and offers an excellent working environment and career progression opportunities.
