I am currently working with a well-established consultancy that has been delivering enterprise planning and reporting solutions for more than 20 years. With clients ranging from SMEs to large international organisations, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects that genuinely improve business planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire experienced Senior Consultants to join their project delivery team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with client-facing consultancy work. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end CPM projects, building best-in-class planning models, managing stakeholder relationships, and helping clients maximise the value of their investment.
The environment offers a high level of autonomy, making it well suited to consultants who are confident managing their own workload and taking ownership of delivery.
What you will be doing
- Delivering high-quality CPM solutions on time and within budget
- Leading or supporting full project lifecycles from requirements gathering through to implementation
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and IT functions
- Translating business requirements into scalable planning and reporting models
- Managing project risks, expectations, and communication throughout delivery
- Supporting business development, training, and client support initiatives where required
What they are looking for
- Experience building models within CPM/EPM platforms such as:
- IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
- Anaplan
- Oracle PBCS / Essbase
- Adaptive Insights
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel capability
- Experience delivering planning solutions including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow modelling
- Understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consultancy environment
Nice to have
- Finance or accounting background
- Experience integrating ERP / General Ledger systems with CPM platforms
- Consulting experience within enterprise performance management projects
This role does involve travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, although every effort is made to keep travel balanced and manageable.
