Henderson Drake is working with a fast-growing, award-winning EPM consultancy that partners with elite clients to modernise how finance teams plan, forecast, and make decisions. As part of continued growth, they’re looking to hire a Senior Planning Specialist with strong experience in Workday Adaptive Planning to join their delivery team.

This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys hands-on delivery, close client interaction, and the satisfaction of seeing planning solutions genuinely adopted and used.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of planning workstreams, from early discovery through to build, go-live, and adoption. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you’ll design scalable planning models that stand up to real-world complexity and change.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver full lifecycle implementations using Workday Adaptive Planning
• Design integrated planning models across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Configure workflows, reporting, scenarios, and forecasting logic
• Act as a trusted FP&A advisor to client finance teams
• Support pre-sales activities such as scoping sessions and proof-of-concept builds
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery best practices
• Stay current with platform updates and maintain certifications

What They’re Looking For

• Proven hands-on delivery experience with Adaptive Planning
• Strong financial modelling and FP&A process knowledge
• Confidence translating complex requirements into practical solutions
• Comfortable working in client-facing consulting environments
• Experience across multiple end-to-end implementations
