Senior Planning Specialist

Senior Planning Specialist | Workday Adaptive Planning | Remote (UK) | Full-Time

Henderson Drake is working with a fast-growing EPM consultancy seeking a senior planning specialist with strong Workday Adaptive Planning experience.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys working closely with finance teams, taking planning solutions from early discovery through to go-live, and seeing them genuinely adopted. You will work directly with senior finance stakeholders, designing planning models that hold up to real-world complexity.

What you will be doing:

• Deliver full lifecycle implementations using Workday Adaptive Planning

• Design integrated planning models across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow

• Configure workflows, reporting, scenarios, and forecasting logic

• Act as a trusted FP&A adviser to client finance teams

• Support pre-sales activities including scoping sessions and proof-of-concept builds

• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery best practices

• Stay current with platform updates and maintain certifications

What we are looking for:

• Proven hands-on delivery experience with Workday Adaptive Planning

• Strong financial modelling and FP&A process knowledge

• Confident translating complex requirements into practical solutions

• Comfortable in a client-facing consulting environment

• Experience across multiple end-to-end implementations
